Candlefish was founded on the idea of the pharmacy counters of yesterday. The idea that you could walk up to the counter, express your needs or ailments or desires, and be met with the humanity of someone who listens, cares, and uses their expertise to find just the right tincture. The power of fragrance is their tincture and their 100-candle library is their pharmacy. You won’t find fragrance notes on their candles (yes, it’s true!) and this is intentional. The purpose here is for the fragrance to come first when deciding what you love or don’t, instead of the fragrance notes they’ve listed on the packaging or vessel. And that final element? Their chandlers are armed with their humanity and expertise to get to know you and fulfill all of your fragrance desires.
