Maddie has demonstrated a profound passion for curating retail experiences since she was in high school, where she participated in an independent study with a mentor in retail leasing at The Howard Hughes Corporation. During which time she produced an original case study, “What Makes a Shopping Center Successful”, and ultimately created a merchandising plan for the mixed-use project, POST Houston, as her final product. During college, her internships included a year at EDGE Realty Partners as well as a two year marketing internship with Conscious Couture Events.
Maddie graduated from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in 3 years with a Real Estate Finance degree. During her time at SMU, Maddie was engaged in the Folsom Institute for Real Estate as the Vice President, focusing on engaging alumni nationally while representing the university at Urban Land Institute Fall Meetings, ICSC Dallas + Las Vegas, and competing in the Villanova Real Estate Development Case Competition, and was also a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Maddie joins RUE with an eagerness to connect her love of dynamic brands and business development.
