The National | Dallas, TX
Standing at 52 stories and totaling approximately 1.3 million square feet, First National Bank Tower, now known as The National, is the largest adaptive reuse project in Texas. The historic renovation included the careful preservation of 17,555 hand-cut exterior marble panels that were sourced from the same quarry as the marble used for the Parthenon. As of its completion in 2020, The National is anchored by the first Thompson Hotel in Texas with Thompson Dallas, a 219-key and four-restaurant hotel debuting in November 2020. The National embodies the height of urban luxury, with 324 apartments within The National Residences that are accompanied by Thompson’s unparalleled service and amenities. Situated at the top of the luxury high-rise, two-time Michelin-starred chef Danny Grant leads two restaurant concepts. Monarch, a modern Italian cuisine and fine dining restaurant, and Kessaku, a sushi bar and cocktail lounge on the 50th floor, both offer 360 views of the Dallas skyline. The hotel and residences are complemented by 25,000 square feet of ground floor retail, with tenants such as Lucchese Boots and Chick-fil-a, as well as 28,000 square feet of office space, anchored by Downtown Dallas Inc.
